Closest trails/track to Long Beach?

I see a lot of off-road bikes on craigslist for good prices, and most of them say "don't have the time to ride..." well I have the time :) Does anyone know of the closest trails or track to the Long Beach area?

Also, anyone been to the new track in Burbank? They don't have a website running yet and I haven't been able to find much info.
