Looks like I owe the Tax Man way more than I expected, so I have to sell my gear for now to come up with some cash to pay my tax bill. :( It's true, the more earned income you make, the more you're taxed.

Item: Teknic Chicane 2pc Race Suit
Price: $200 shipped OBRO, $180 cash with local pick up
Original Retail Price: $400+ without knee sliders (bought in late '04)
Size: 38 US/48 Euro
Color: Black
Description: This is a used black Teknic Chicane 2pc race suit from 2004. Wore the suit a few times, but really wore the jacket most of the time. It includes knee sliders and a full circumference metal zipper and foam padding on the forearms, shoulders, knees and hips. I took a small tumble with this suit, but you can hardly tell, my knee sliders and boots took most of the damage. I was bored one evening, so I decided to punch holes on the suit to perforate it. Turned out ok as you can see in the pics. I can include a reflex gear back protector size small and Bohn chest protector if you like for FREE (if not "sold" with the other suit).

Original Retail price: $60+ (bought in late '04)
Size: Small
Color: Black/Blue

Item: Dainese Nitro 1pc Race Suit
Price: $650 shipped OBRO, $600 cash with local pick up
Original Retail Price: $1200+ (bought it cheaper than retail back in '05)
Size: 40 US/50 Euro
Color: Black/Silver/White
Description: This is a used black/silver/white Dainese Nitro 1pc race suit made of cowhide. It comes fully perforated, hard CE protectors on the forearm, shoulders, knees, shins, and padded hips and one of the best suits Dainese has released in the past and this fit me perfect (I'm 5'8", 145-150lbs). This features the "over-the boot" fit, where you velcro the pant legs over their race boots (Axial Race). I low-sided and tumbled with this suit and tried to stop with my left arm (see pic) and came out with nothing but a bruise. Great suit! I can include a reflex gear back protector size small and Bohn chest protector if you like for FREE (if not "sold" with the other suit).

Item: Dainese Axial Race Boot
Price: $280 shipped OBRO, $260 cash with local pick up
Original Retail price: $400+ (bought last year)
Size: 41 Euro (8-8.5 US)
Color: Black/Silver
Description: This is a set of used black/silver Dainese Axial Race boots made of cowhide with the inner brace made of carbon kevlar. Features a rear entry zipper which makes it easy to put on and remove. Slight cosmetic damage as these were the boots I had on when I went down with my Dainese suit. Protected my feet just fine. One of the best boots you can find! This is made to work with Dainese suits that feature the "over the boot" fit.

Damn dude... how much do you owe?

So far about $3600. I'm so stupid. I made so much money last year, I don't even have anything to show for it. Time to get my finances and life in check.

Yikes, I kept going down the list expecting to see a bike for sale. :confused
No way I'm selling that, unless I was in dire need of cash.

If you're a salaried employee, I don't un derstand how it happened. If you're self-employed, find another accountant. I'm serious. I made that mistake in 2005, but luckily I knew the right man to fix it. Taxes are one huge gray area. The right accountant is the key. Good luck.

Worked on a fishing boat in alaska for 5 years, no all about that shit. Mr Fagan, your tax is 17,600 for FY 1991 on top of the 10 grand you allready paid, ah ah shit.

i would also post this on cl and recycler.com just to increase your chances of getting rid of it all. Sorry to hear about your taxes... are you freelance w/ E! or something/?? I'd expect E! would have salaried employees... in which case even if you "made a shitload of money" you should still be getting a RETURN, not paying, as your employer has already taken out taxes from your paycheck. Was this not the case, or are these back taxes? Well, as an "independent contractor" I totally hear you on tax woes ... blahhh

Seriously. Taxes are a big shakedown just like private collection business. They get as much as they can extort from you. YOU have an option of paying or not paying and every self-employed person I know executes his right of not paying. A good accountant would make your return LOOK good, conventional, and low-key. The worst that can happen to you IF you get audited (.00X% chance) is you claim you made a mistake and pay the tax you "missed" (by mistake). Of course that's assuming you're in legit business.

You skinny lil bastard, none of that shit fits me. Good luck with the sale
I owed last year so this years return got taken away between the IRS and the california superior court. But at least all my tickets are paid off as well as last years taxes.

I might be interested in one or two items... I wish I knew about this sooner... I would definitely have snagged the chest protector.

Edit:
Damn... All your gear is Black or Blue/Black. I only sport Red, Red/Black, or White/Black. Dang... I would love to help out a fellow 636 owner, but nothing that really that suits my tastes except that KBC Helmet... but I already have a VR-2.
