glamis, anyone into it....or other dunes

i have some buddies that are into quads and glamis....so i was wondering about it, maybe putting a paddle on the big CR. is it fun on a bike or is it a quad thing?

Yeah...a paddle on a big CRF or CR is a blast. I stay away from sand though...destroys bikes.

I think dunes are more fun with a quad. I still need to get some paddles for mine too. for trails, the quad is also fun, but I prefer 2 wheels there. I've seen other mx bikes with paddles in the sand... i haven't personally tried it, but looks fun, I just [refer quads in that terrain as you can easily sink into the sand and loose footing and traction.

thanks guys, i was thinking of just buying a cheap quadracer to goof around on.....i would rather not blow up my 500 over reving it in the sand.

Paddles are cool but it all depends i've done the quad thing it was fun as hell but i like 2 wheels instead

For dirt I like quads. Some day I'll own a 20 year old quad with clashing colors and be able to join people in the dirt.
