Hello~
I know it's cheaper to get tires online but then if i did that id have to take it to a shop and ask them to put it on which i heard is expensive? but is it more expensive to buy tires at the shop and gettin them on for free?:dunno
Which shops around Los Angeles do you guys and girls recommend? Any good, reasonably priced places i can get full tune ups at?? :) Thank you!

yes, always better to get the tires online. it still beats their price if they mount + balance for free with tire purchase.

you'll save money if u buy tires online and bring it in, but its just a bit more troublesome. you gotta get the rims off the bike yourself, then bring it over.. im just lazy. i usually just pay my friend to take off the tires, he does it cheap.

Del Amo motorsports, you show up with the bike and the do all the job for 1 tire for 20 dollars including balancing, nobody can beat that. There is a Del amo branch in Long Beach Cherry st. they have clearance in all tires prices.

So if i buy the tires online, I cant just bring the tires and the bike in? i have to get the rims off myself first before bringing it to a shop!?!?! i dun think i can do that...:confused

then you need to buy your tires at the shop. personally, i enjoy removing and re-installing my rims with new fresh tires on them- what a great feeling. I just throw my rims along with my new tires into my trunk and drive them to the shop. i don't find it to be a big hassle.

You can do that if you're in a hurry. But eventually, you'd want to learn how to remove the tires yourself. It's pretty simple on bikes, just need proper tools.

You'll need a front and rear stand and some standard tools to remove the wheels. The standard tripple tree stand is too long to pivot the 250 up, so a fork stand or something smaller will do. If you buy the tires from the shop they can probably mount it for you with the wheels on the bike, just ride your bike there. That seems to be a more practical, although slightly expensive, solution in your case. Well, you always have Zmoo's number. Put that dude to work! :lmfao
