What are you tricks to riding uphill? I can't stand it! There's a spot where the road goes uphill to come to a two way street, which means I have to stop on top of the hill. I lose control everytime and stall out or pop forward and nearly wet my pants when I pop the clutch. What the hell am I doing wrong? Help!

Down shift to 1st b4 you come to a complete stop. Put only 1 foot down, use to front brake to bring you to a complete stop, then use the rear brake to hold the bike. Once you're ready to go, just let out the clutch gradually, and add a little gas, while letting out the rear brake. graemlins/thumb.gif

ya hold the bike with the rear, so you dont have to struggle with the front brake / throttle.

Thanks. I guess it's one of those things that will come with experience. My fork seals need replacing! I started to notice that the front end dips down and whenever I hit a railroad track, the front end hits and I hear a nasty clunk sound. It's a lot of $ to take it to a mechanic though. I practiced starting out on a hill today. Got to a hill, turned off the engine, and practiced. I'm starting to get the hang of it, but it's still ackward and sometimes i pop the clutch. Gah, I guess practice makes perfect.

Ebay has practically everything! tongue.gif Also, I used to practice in my drive way. There, you don't have to worry about cars rushing you smile.gif
