What SS brake lines should I get? I'm lazy to do my own research right now :D

What is it for? graemlins/dunno.gif
Roughly $90 for the front lines is the general price I found. ($80-$88 actually)
And a few bucks for new fluid, and of course you'd want to replace the pads at the same time. I prefer stopping power over accelerating power, so eventually SS lines are a mod I will do. :D
As for which ones... my "research" has made me want Galfer or Goodridge lines. For no reason what-so-ever, I'd probably go with Galfer.

I think fronts run around $100, rears go for around $60. The two biggest brands I've heard of are Galfer and Goodridge. I've heard (don't know for sure) that the main difference has to do with the banjo bolt up top...one being easier to bleed air from there.
There's also kevlar lines. But, the color supposedly fades over time.
Now, does anyone know anything about wave rotors? Is there a loss to braking performance?

Definitely go with either Galfer or Goodridge lines. These are the better known brands. Galfer lines are pretty much standard quality and performance. For a little more money, get the Goodridge –2 lines. They’re smaller diameter, therefore better performing. Keep in mind the –2’s don’t have the clear protective coating like the Galfers or standard Goodridge. I have the Galfers…good improvement all around.
As for replacing the pads….it’s not necessary on Yamahas since our stock pads are sintered. I switched to EBC HH sintered when my stocks wore out and there’s not much of a difference. I’ve put 6000 miles on the EBC’s and there’s only about 30% left. I was able to pull 18,000 miles off my stock pads.
Brake lines are good idea, especially now that you’re hauling ass on the track now.

I have GOODRIDGE SS lines on Nadine..and I left the stock pads. My dealer installed them and said my front pads were in excellent shape and no need to go for aftermarket. Plus with my "agressive" riding style...(cough) the brakes were of not too much difference to me. The only difference I notice is no brake fade after a long HOT ride. Like the desert run we did a few weeks back, I did notice in hot weather and lots of braking etc etc...my brakes never felt weak or faded. Plus they have excellent BLING factor! The main reason I got mine..and the fact I got front and rear lines for $40!
