Nice ride today. Started to feel a bit tired later, probably from the heat and my ill stomach. A big thanks to Dr. John for the advice about the rib rub and showing me how to do it. graemlins/thumb.gif

It was hot, but not CRAZY hot like we've ridden in a few times in the past. I just think for the most part we were all a little tired to start out, and the heat didn't help much. Riding the lower end of Piuma was really nice though, it's always really cool down there, it's refreshing. :D

Great fun, and great pics Andre. That exploration was fun...er, at least it was cooler than the top of piuma. I started out the ride tired, and am glad that i got home safe and sound. Now i have to go wash the car for my date tonight.

Hey guys, great ride on Saturday. Zmoe likes those roads and I can tell he rides them a lot. Sorry I had to cut my day a little short. On the way down the hill I hit some big bumps on Mulholland and broke the bracket on my rear seat cowl and the $%#r went sailing along with tools and water. Fortunately nobody behind me drove over anything, but the cowl's good and scratched. Guess I'll have to get another one.

Damn Bob, sorry to hear that. We didn't ride for too much longer. We went back down Stunt, hit Dry Canyon Cold Creek but were met with a tons of bicyclists and a big rig parked in one of the turns. Nothing bad happened, just a bit of a scare. Decided not to go back the same way so we just took Mulholland back to Stunt, made our way back to Piuma, went down to the fork, then back up to the "top", turned around, relaxed at the turnout, then took a little exploration at the bottom of Piuma (trying to find Hume) and eventually got back onto Las Flores to head home.
