Dim sum starts as early at 9...but if people are not FLAKY and show up at 10...that would be an ok time. I would be down to meet for dim sum. Or breakfast somewhere else? Save money and not have to eat at the track. Maybe an IHOP near the track?

Laura and I are up for some AMA action, but it would help if someone could direct me in the right direction for getting tickets! :D Oh and I vote for IHOP! graemlins/thumb.gif

Any Yamaha dealer will have tickets for $25.

They also sell 3 day passes for $60, and you get a free pit pass.

I got this info from Champion Motorcycles & California Speedway newsletter.

Sunday sounds good!

BigBird's meeting place is in Arcadia, Tristan's meeting place is in Ontario which is about 10 minutes from the track. What you all should do is to have BigBird's crew meet Tristan's crew in Ontario. Then both go to the track. graemlins/idea.gif

pits take a whole 15-20min to walk through. actually pretty boring stuff. but you get to collect alot of posters! graemlins/thumb.gif

vendor area takes a bit longer. prolly like 1hr to look at all the vendors.

and were riding man!

thach
04-03-2004, 10:19 PM
are you guys there for vendors too? or just for the races?

any suggestions on what i should do?

1) go and collect posters/take pictures and then leave and meet up with you kids at Starbucks (is parking free?)

2) meet up at starbucks and then go collect posters

3) thach, forget the stupid posters and just meet up with your sportbikers.net buddies

It was great. I had a grand ole time. Nice to see the SBN faces as always. smile.gif The pit pass was cool. I got to see the starting grid from behind all the pit areas. Cool views from both sides.

I am just a bit tired... and burnt to a crisp. Feels like it was a long day.

I have lots of pictures. James, you want to upload them to the MEDIA section?

Brien Whitlock went over his handlebars in the Supersport race, and managed to save a high side, get back on his bike, and ride back to the pits.

MAD1

Nope don't have stands yet...but seriously i will be needing a pair to get the tires of and re mounted...you don't have a tire mounting apparatus do you? I have no idea how to make sure that they are aligned and all that jazz other than eyeballing it.

I'll be picking up the tires on friday around noon...Give me a call if you are free friday.
