i'm probaly gonna ride Azusa this saturday so if anyone wanna join, let me know. i'm thinking 10am ride, but if no1 is going ill probaly head out a little earlier.

went there last sunday, it was clean and no cops.

im not sure what the gas station is, but after you exit the 210E, turn left on to Azusa and its the first gas station on your right hand side.

im not sure what the 39 is. i just ride up azusa and turn right on the bridge and go up to wehre the road is closed. i think that closed road is gmr.

sorry, really don't know the names of all these roads. :confused:

39 is azusa. That bridge road is GMR.

That is the Shell station. But last time I was there (loooong time ago) it was under construction and closed off I think graemlins/dunno.gif

If it is still closed how about meeting at the Chevron at the north east corner?

i went last sunday and the road is still close, but it was really clean and dry not like the first time i went with you guys. its actually a nice ride when the road is clean. also wasn't too many cars after the bridge.

I think we will be meeting at 10am at the Shell stataion off of 210 on Azusa. If the Shell station isn't open then it'll be the Chevron on the NE corner of the same intersection.

All assuming that it will not rain of course ;)

What is GMR like? I have heard different descriptions of it. Some people really like it, some people really hate it, some people say its really slow... how does it compare to Azusa 39? Ortega Hwy? Little T?

I like GMR. It gets dirty easily though, that's why a lot of people hate it.

It's a great technical school for all riders, yes is tight but makes you think fast, I've seen ppl fly off the cliff, but all I say is that you have to ride your own limits. Plus GMR is the place I met Vtec44, we pretty much graduated the same time, and look at us now, we're just a couple of bullets!!!! graemlins/ak47.gif

Good ride today! We rode Azusa (39) all the way up to Crystal Lake. I had never ridden that far up before since the gates were usually closed.

The road was really nice and clean with the exception of the top portion (new territory -- at least for me).

Saw a bunch of bikes and cyclists, few cars and no Leos.

I only got to try out the jacket part of my suit since with the full suit on I couldn't mount the bike! =9

I guess I'll have to stretch'em some more! Damn it!
