OK guys and gals.

Anyone interested in going to see this SATURDAY??

I am meeting JIKSER in Cerritos for some tire installs in the AM. After that we can all meet up for lunch and RIDE into Hollywood for a matinee

or

We can just meet for dinner and catch an evening show. We need to see who is interested as we have to buy the tickets in advance since it is assigned seating.

So post up on who is interested...so far, it is myself, Asian R6 and his wifey...

A little too far to meet-up. If you see any good cuban cigars (Cohibas, Partagas or MonteCristos) buy me a few and I will pay you.

Since no one else posted when I checked the thread....a few of us went. Brian Jennings...we were at the 7:30 showing!

Let me just say..the movie was great. I was really inspired...and best of all I LOVED the message at the end of the movie...KEEP IT OFF THE STREETS...

Rossi is hilarious...dude is basically a cartoon. His accent and the way he talks..love it. Biaggi..what a jerk...and I really learned alot. I have more street cred now!! I can speak on 2001 and 2002 MotoGP season like a pro! HA!

$14 is A LOT...but...it was kinda worth it. Seats were comfy as hell...and I think it was worth it to see the film on the big screen IMO.

RanchoRider

sounds really good... i cant wait to get the dvd

Brian Jennings

That was awesome! Rossi's comment about "the $@<hidden>#%ing idiots in cars" was great - and I encountered one on the way up I-5 today... I don't think the lady saw me until I came swerving back in front of her from the center shoulder.

I came back home over Highway 36 (http://www.pashnit.com/roads/cal/Highway36.htm) tonight and was starting to really enjoy the curves, leaning hard, and then I saw fresh skid marks leading into the dirt and off the side of the mountain. I hopped off the bike to look over the edge and saw the car wrapped around a tree - the only one keeping it from going any further down the canyon. Everybody was ok, but it was a bit sobering. Made me think back to the end of that movie - even the big boys dont try to drag their knees off the track. I slowed it down a little and enjoyed the scenery for the rest of the ride.

All in all, my southern california weekend was cool. Hollyweird scares me, but the movie was worth it. Hopefully I'll be able to meet up with you guys next time I make it down. Ride safe!

Sorry to say folks, but unless you are one of the most hardcore MotoGp fans, you should save your money for the DVD!

(In my opinion)

Since they charge $11 to see this, I was a bit dissapointed. It is a great documentary on Gp racing but it lacked the edge that I would expect for a theater quality movie let alone MotoGp racing! The trailer was a bit misleading, especially when they played all that rock music having me to expect that it was going to be a bit hollywood with alot of action.

Anyways........ I think that all you guys should definitley go see this but it's up to you if want to spend $11 at the theater or $16 for the DVD. Besides, they dont play it loud enough at Arclight!

and seeing it on the big screen made it worth to me. I plan on getting the DVD regardless...

Good call.

I'm glad your trip down to So.Cal. was enjoyable. Even better was the fact that you made it home safely. Hopefully you can meet up with some of us next time.
