Sunday, April 11th, 2004.
Ride: Azusa (39) / GMR (if it's open) (http://www.zmoe.com/rides.html)
Meet: Mobil
Time: 10:00am.
Address: Don't have the exact address, but it's on Azusa north of the 210 fwy on the left side where Azusa splits.

I know it's Easter Sunday, but I don't really celebrate Easter, so I'm gonna go ride. Any and all are welcome to join me.

Same ride as last week...I think I enjoyed it enough to do it again, and no, i do not celebrate easter either. I will be there as long as the new tires get put on and scrubbed in by then.

I don't like GMR, so I'm gonna do ACH with the other guys.

Do they clean the debris off the road, or is it always like that? just a wonderin'.

I could do ACH. I'm just trying to figure out if Azusa will be overrun with cages going up there for Easter, or will everyone celebrate at home.

And ACH... knowing it's Easter, a lot of riders might be out that morning. Azusa would be less crowded.

I don't know, we'll see. For now, Azusa is still on.

You guys do know that GMR is a seperate road from Azusa right? It's not like Azusa automatically turns into GMR. graemlins/laughing.gif

Yes it does. And we all know that when I say I'm going to ride a certain road, EVERYONE has to go too.

That's boring up and down Azusa. Did that ride yesterday with fstrnr(jay).

On the weekends, there's too many cars and trucks going up to the east fork to play in the dirt or picnic/hikers at the base of GMR on the back side.
It's only fun if you like to go slow.... graemlins/lsvader.gif

Wasn't too bad last sunday, that's why I want to go again. Worst case scenario is we head over to the Crest after checking out Azusa/GMR. I'm open to ride up to about 4pm.

CLASS has ride breaks like ever 20 minutes for instruction and there will be a lunch hour as well. riding thru the canyons will get a couple of breaks but the riding could be about an hour each session. i will have buns of steel by the end of the day tho...you could bounce siver dollars off of them.

B and I will probably be there.

No, they do not clean the road that often, and yes it usually is a little dirty.

I don't think i can make the ride tomorrow. I didn't get my tires put on, as I am awaiting my free front for as long as possible.

My credit card was billed the $20 shipping fee on 3/29 and i hope that the tire will arrive sometime this week.

My current tires are in a pretty bad way right now so i don't think i should ride on them. I rode out to Reg Pridmore's office/hangar/bike museum this morning with a friend of mine and he was amazed that i dared ride on the street with my tires the way they are. so, i'm out.

The Azusa ride today was great. Yes there were cars, but that didn't stop us from having a great time. Up Azusa to the gate (which was open again, but we didn't go), down to East Fork and over to GMR. Went up GMR to the top where the gate to the Glendora side was closed, back down GMR/East Fork/Azusa and on to lunch... then repeated the process after lunch. :D No incidents' except for Bryan pushing a big rock out of the road for us... while leaned over.. graemlins/eek3.gif but he kept the sticky side down and made it through. graemlins/thumb.gif

Oh... and it was H O T
