BBQ Brunch @ T.M.'s - Sunday 5-23-04

SUNDAY 5-23-04 ~ 10am

I've closed the voting poll and am opening up my humble little home in Orange County for Sportbikers.net friends. There will be bbq, non-alcoholic refreshments, SPEED tv, and good company. It will start when the first AMA race begins. You're welcomed to slowly drift in until sunset.

Please post up on this thread only if you can still attend. It will make it easy for me to keep a head count and send out PM's. It will be nice to see the usual suspects there.

The location is at THACH MOTORCYCLES [ graemlins/laugh.gif graemlins/laughing.gif graemlins/laughing2.gif graemlins/laughing3.gif ] in Garden Grove. I'll PM the address when you post up (if you plan on attending).

It'll take us straight out to the 405frwy. Thach, u remember that route right. Not bad huh. Nothing compared to ACH, but it's better then being stuck in traffic on PCH. Or we can try Ortega with Bob.

I'm going to minimize the disaster-factor for this "bbq" by ordering some food as well; chow-mein, eggrolls, and rotisserie chicken. My sister will bring a krab-salad dip and veggies.

I will attempt to grill some hamburgers and hotdogs.

Not as hard as you might imagine. You just have to put a metal plate on the bbq that will act as a griddle. Done all the time when people go camping.

If anyone wants to do Ortega on Sunday morning, I will be at the 5 and Ortega (Chevron on north side of freeway) between 7:30 and 8:00am. Take a run up to Elsinore and back in time for BBQ at Thach's.

Thank you everybody for making the trek over to my house for a fun time. Big thanks to Quang for doing the cooking while I made sure everyone had enough to eat/drink; to James and Keri for bringing extra burger patties and cheese; and to Alan and Jamie for bringing Spam musubis!!

I know the house is a bit small, but I'm glad we made the most of it. I hope everyone had fun and will come back when I turn 3.0.
