How to link avatar

Ok, so I'm not an internet expert, and was wondering how to add my own avatar if I make one that I like. I know you have to link to a URL, but I don't really know how to set up an avatar at a URL. Can someone explain it for me? graemlins/lol5.gif

If you have a geocities.com webpage you can host it there and just link to it. If you have a Yahoo! email account, you automatically have a geocities account as they're sister companies. An example of how the URL would look if your account was "brumastr" and you named your avatar "sbnavatar.jpg":

http://www.geocities.com/brumastr/sbnavatar.jpg

To upload your image to geocities:
1. Log in
2. Go to "Easy Upload"
3. Select the image from one of the browse boxes.
4. Click Upload (I think that's the button)
5. Remember the name and put the URL in your SBN profile for your avatar.
