What are some stores that you have PERSONALLY experienced, and what do you want to say about them?
From Me:
I went to Temple City Power Sports (located off Rosemead Blvd. in San Gabriel) to service my '95 F3 (wasn't running). They did a commendable job in getting her running again. I've also been there a few times for other small things (new sprocket/chain, a dead battery that I purchased from them, which they replaced for free) and their service has always been the best. The employees are usually pretty friendly and willing to help answer any questions. The bad stuff? Expensive! But I'm a true believer in "you get what you pay for," so I'm glad to dish out the extra $$ for great service.
I also tried Born Again Fairings, located in San Dimas, CA. The shop has been around for awhile and many people on the 'net vouch for them. I needed to get some body fairings fixed (cracks and broken tabs) - practically all my pieces had SOMEthing wrong - so I figured I'd give them a try. The guy I met, Erikk (sp??) was great to talk to and has top-notch welding/fixing skills. I'm not sure if he's still there, though...but regardless, it's worth a look if you don't want to buy brand-new body panels.
