Teknic Seven Plate Back Protector.
From NewEnough.Com "These back protectors consist of molded plates riveted to a foam cushion pad. The 7 plate protector has a wide elastic belt with Velcro closure to hold the protector in place. I think it would be a help for the lower back on longer rides. These back protectors can be used with suits that don't have back protectors or you can use these in place of the dual density foam back protectors supplied with many suits. The model in this picture is 6' tall, so you can get a feel for the overall sizing. Max size of the midsection to be comfortable with the 7 plate is about 46"."
