a few of you have picked up the suits so far. most of the suits are still being screwed around by customs. which is not due to be released untill the 18th. they will not release partial shipments trust me i spent the last 3 days dealing with these guys. I need to get my hands on another shipper that does not go through newyork for customs. they claim there was a red flag or some crap. so now i have all my inventory your suits, come crash club members suits, my new suit and about 30 misc. customers sitting in new york. I was able to verify that everything had been shipped last monday. My guys are all back in well except for roberto. he was the manager and is now unemployed.

Went to pick up my suit...and NO DICE!

Damn...here's the good and bad news.

BAD NEWS FIRST! - my suit was about 90% perfect. That 10% was in the mid section (where else?) the legs were correct, basically everything from my ass down was good. Shoulders needed about 2" inches and the torso was short alot. I barely could zip it up. And before you all go and think I gained like 100 lbs since the fitting...well I didnt. Even Warren said it was not right. Anyways...apparently since my suit was already made and the pattern is already cut...

GOOD NEWS - I should have my resized suit by the end of the month. Warren said I will have my new suit by MARCH 27th or sooner. Depending on delivery.

MORE GOOD NEWS - OK..I had to admit..and I even told Warren I was a little wary of the suits. How are they gonna look? Are they crappy? Is Warren just a hustler and selling crap? I have to say. although my suit was not fitted..it was a VERY HIGH QUALITY SUIT. Really heavy and thick leather, the armor, construction is all there. I was VERY IMPRESSED with the suit. I just wish it fit me. Now..I am just as FRUSTRATED as everyone else regarding the timing...trust me..I have been bitching alot...but..after seeing the quality of the suit..my frustration has turned to patience. My first track day is not until May..so I am not on a tough deadline, so I can wait. After seeing my suit, I can wait until the end of MARCH. No prob. Man...it looked so cool...my name in the chest..and ASIAN IMAGE across the hump in the back.

Anyways...so my review is about 80/20 - 80 as in the suit is AWESOME! and the 20 is the wait and the non fit that sucks ass.

Warren thank you for meeting with me today and I look forward to the end of this month for my suit.

Well we figured out what went wrong with Asain images suit. It was my fault. I was e-mailed reguarding the suit and they said it didnt look right so they gave me the specs and i had them take a little off here and there. I though i had over estimated the fit. Where in fact the suit was right to begin with. the suits should fit the way roys did. I took everyones measurements the same way. Note making a joke but when they sent me the specs I thought it was goign to be way to big. When the suit came in i still thought it was going to be to big. So with this suit it brings our percentile down to a 90% Fit which is what i get for messing with the measurements. dont worry I didnt adjust anyone elses so they should all fit like a glove. to date we have 9 suits that did not fit. 1 of them was because the customer actually lost 15lbs it still fit ok but i think she wanted to show off her goods a little more so she wanted it tighter. and 2 suits were do to my fault bobs and asian image. Bobs was measured in inches rather then CM and somthing was lost in the conversion.

Asain images's suits as of today is being Assembled. I had his moved to the front of the line being built with the off the rack suits for the california speedway AMA event on april 4th. I am having the suit shipped by itself to avoid any customs issues.

I just came back from picking up my suit from Warren's place with Graucho (Julian).

Man, i don't think i can say enough good stuff about it! The suit turned out really nice! graemlins/thumb.gif

I am extremely happy with the quality of it. I just need to try and stretch the pants out a bit since they seem a bit too tight right now. Hopefully they'll stretch out as Warren says they should.

Warren took some pics and hopefully he'll post'em up soon.

I plan on ordering online for a few extra pieces. Also buy the TURF gear...thats what peeps have.

patrick, go to a larger sporting goods store, like Sport Chalet or Chicks, or SportMart, etc. They'll carry the UA as well as the other brands, Nike, Reebok, Addidas, and countless others.... some are more expensive than others. I've found that the Nike style is pricier than Under Armor, but these places will also have the cheaper brands.

You can also try online like Ebay (I've actually purchased a couple of pieces of the Nike DriFit through Ebay and have been satisfied.

Other options you might want to consider is checking the outlet stores for this stuff. I've run accross some of that stuff at places like Burlington Coat Factory, Ross, Marshall's, etc. These stores will have varying brands and styles, but if you go to a brand outlet, you'll find their versions (i.e. Nike, Reebok, etc.)

from what i gather...depending on which ones you buy, the benefits are staying cool in the heat, staying warm in the cold, wicking the sweat away from your body, and makes it easy to slip in and out of your leathers.

hey guys. well i got tired of playing the phone and e-mail game and flew up here to my facility.
to see how the rebuilds are doing.
asian image i am looking at your suit now which is 99.9% doen they just need to do the asian image embroider and put the hump on. Marmalades suit is done I believe jiksers suit is as well. I know the day after i left the US a shipment came. e-mail annie@<hidden> with the info on your suit and she will be able to let you knwo if its in. she doesnot know how to work the data base yet so she cant pull up by order numbers or names. so just tell her "hey mines the one thats red and green and says screw you on the back" well you get the idea. I know the red xcomp that has #56 infront with sportbikers on the lower back is in I think the last name is somthing like orra or somthing like that. any how it the one posted up with all the other images. I know jeremy got his red flamed yamaha suit. Lets just hope he doesnt crash again (jk jeremy)

Any how DVX has filied a civil suit against US customs. Along with a "release of property order" for no just cause to hold goods. the civil suit is a 1.6 million case. we filled for this much because well we live in california de-faming a company or person is a crime. because of thier lack of responce to us it has ruined our reputation along with causing a great financial loss

hey guys i just cam back in for a few days.
the suits that i had mentioned before that were done are done they just need to be shipped in. since i am using the air frieght instead of dhl i pay for a container like thing for all my boxes well the container costs 1400.00 so i need to get as much stuff in there as possible and its 3/4 of the way full. but I was able to smuggle through yodas suit and kirks suit in my bags. I am flying back out there monday to finish up that container and see personally that it is shipped out. I want to make sure all sport bikers suits are in there. When I left we already had everythign switched over to handle another forums order so all sportbikers suits that are not 100% done are having names, logos, or extra patterns stitched on but the suits are built.

there are still a few suits for sportbikers that have not been picked up thier names have been listed in previous posts. I am also going to grab a couple of suits and fly them back in with me. most likely it will be asian images and jikser suit if i can get a third its marmalade suit if not they will be flying in with the rest. I am only allowed 1 carry on (really small) and 1 bag so i am going to go buy this biggest bag i can get. this is saving me alot of money on shipping

as for e-mailing annie, her son has been really sick this last week so she stood home to take care of him. But she will be back in in the morning

Yes this is true Jason, We had a few suits that needed to be corrected. Just as I told everyone I wouldn't ship everyone else's and leave your's behind. The hold up was from the r1 forum's orders. When the suits arrive we are looking at about 1 to 2 days to repack them all in separate boxes. We will be using USPS priority mail because it is faster and costs the same as UPS.

Sorry guys Sportbikers suits are complete But I am having a hell of a time getting back now. Long story anyhow we had some delays from a couple of other forums suits I got kind of screwed trying to go back to the us with such a big bag stuffed with leather so I had to go back and toss it into the container. It worked a couple of times but maybe I was just doing it to much. Right now the onlyones who have recieved suits are from this forum yea i know it sucks. we have brought in some new parteners these guys know how to run a business I still own 51% of it but I am moving to the silent partner side. Today is JUNE 20, 2004, its been 185 days since my initial order of my suit. In those 185 days....i have done 6 trackdays without the suit. I was forced to buy track pants to go with my existing jacket just to make my money's worth on those paid trackdays. I know you've been bustin' your balls to fulfill all those orders and trying to get them here in the stateside.

But, do you think its worth it for me to still pay you my balance once I get my suit? My proposal is as a day go by from my initial order, I should deduct $1/day from my balance. On Dec. 18th, I still owed you $250, now (6/20) its -$185 less for 185 days of waiting. I will deduct $1 for each day that go by until I get my suit. If you do not agree, PLEASE send me a check for $250 and forget about my order. PM me of what you think or post it here.

Wilson (JIKSER) Hi Wilson....I just wanted to make a quick comment about your proposed idea. I think counting the days should be from FEBUARY XX, 2004. As Warren PROMISED the suits for that Fontana trackday. Warren was not "late" up until that time. He promised suits for that Feb date...and if you start counting "late" days it should be from that Feb date. IMO.


As for those wondering about my suit. I did recieve my fixed suit about 2-3 weeks ago. The suit is perfect this time. Fits correctly and all the modifications were done as well. As for the quality, that has never been a DVX issue. The suits have always been great looking and have good quality. The only complaints we have is timing issues. I will have my suit this weekend at BW...so all can come check it out there.

Some serious work is gonna have to be done to get people to believe in his product again. I'm jealous of all of you guys that had your suits at the track last weekend...me and my plain black, run of the mill, A* suit felt pretty lame compared to all of your custom zoots. Especially since most of your suits cost less than mine. But, i'll be damned if i order one from dvx unless the issue of timeliness has been resolved.

International import/export for profit is a dicey game, you have to know how to play before you jump in. I wish i knew of this business venture prior to all of this, i may have been able to help.

I hope all of you get your suits, and that they all fit perfectly the first time...and i hope that you get your free jackets, gloves, or free trackday as was promised as well. Your patience, is a quality that i don't have.

I was able to read the posts today and was able to see all of you talk crap; which is fine. But I noticed Spiderman was really quick to call me a thief and say everyone was ripped off. Did he mention he banned me from responding to you guys? Wouldn't you guys like to see pictures of your suits? As a matter of fact I have a Talos replica suit in my possession that has to go out to one of the R1 members. Sure I saw all the sh!t talking about my quality because of the price. But what the hell, all the suits will be picked up Friday. As far as comparing my suits with others, yeah Spiderman is right don't mix the two up. They can't touch my leather with their 1.4 grade. I was able to keep others updated on the status because they contacted me or did not ban me from their sites. Now some suits have been shipped, some are already riding with them and the rest will be here Friday. I have posted up on the TL forum to have existing customers e-mail me with payment receipt so I can ship. And yes I was able to take screen shots of all threatening activity that was posted on both forums. Will I use them? No I don't think so. After all you are just pissed off customers who have the right to be pissed. Did I rip you off? NO! Have I learned a lesson well! No more preorders. Things would not have been nearly as bad if I floated the costs until the suits came in. But what can you do? I didn't handle it right and so I turned it over to two other guys that have been making things happen, and probably the only reason why I have suits in right now. So long story short, I just wanted to know who still wanted their suits. Like I said, I have the Talos suit in. Just e-mail me. After next week the thread on the R1forum should end. I could care less if you guys tell every single person you know not to buy DVX suits. Oh and FYI, Pete never asked for a refund. All you had to do was contact me and I would have had a reversal done.

Although Warren got into trouble by getting in too deep, he didn't let me down in the end. My buddy Tom's suit also looks really good. Nice job, Warren. 99% of e-mails land in a spam folder. I did not realize this untill a customer had mentioned it to me and showed me how to take that off yesterday. I had a chance to read all e-mails.

My name is Brian with DVX Racing U.S. I had a long speech typed up but let’s just try to get to the short of it. I am running all sales and handling past sales for the apparel side of DVX. I was supposed to step in at the end of the month but some things could not wait.
Warren has way to much on his plate right now and is concentrating purely on the machining and CZ orders. As we are still in the process of getting my office together I am using Warrens while he is in Arizona. I am currently going through his files . I am sorry but I can not answer any questions as to what has shipped as I stated above I am still going through everything. It looks like I have a full days worth of work because the database is completely out of wack. I had the pleasure of meeting a few of you so far. I also look forward to working with the members in resolving any outstanding issues and insure this type of mishap will not happen again.

Operation Hours: I will be available from 9am -5 pm PST SUN-THURSDAY. I am assuming the Sales@<hidden> will be my contact address. Our IT Technician is waiting on the DSL Line and Phone Line right now I assume my office should be up and running by Monday. From My understanding the number should be 951-996-7969. Again the line is not installed just yet

I Currently Do not have access to Warren’s E-mail System. I was just instructed to provide an update to Current Customers. When the DSL is set up I will have his entire database forwarded to mine.

We are currently not excepting any new orders for the next few days until we are set up.
At that point only State side products will be available (Rearsets, wheels, sprockets etc...)
Along with what apparel is in stock.

Customs: DVX has hired a customs agent for future orders. He is currently working on getting the current items out of customs. But because He was hired after the shipment hit customs and has been handled by another case worker he believes he is limited on what can be done at this time.

DVX RACING U.S. IS a Franchise of DVX RACING IT. And will be handling all sales for the U.S.

I will be back on the forum this week with current up to date information.

I will be handling everything on a case by case basis. Some of you that have already received your items may be contacted to help clear up discrepancies in the billing. I understand Warren worked out individual deals with customers that had picked up thier suits but did not update the database.

From my understanding there are only a few suits left to be delivered.

Patrik's suit was also sent to the wrong customer but he was an honest one when he received two suits and has sent patriks back to me which i will have wednesday.


as for customs I am done I have tried everything and nothing seems to work the shipment just gets released in pieces.

I had myles suit and bobs suit rebuilt and sent in via FED X and it only took 4 freeking weeks.

So i had dukes suit and 46 short (cant think of the name again) and a few others rebuilt as well and are also due to be here on wednesday

the reason why you get a (the phone number has been disconected or is no longer in service is because there was an area code change from 909 to 951. odds are you will not get an answer on the old cell phone because i gave it to my neice while she is on a cross country road trip.

the store that is opened is not my store we moved to another location for the manufacturing and r&D a store front came available that was connected to our building and someone came in and opened up a dvx outlet. yes we are working with them but that is not where our time has been. Brian stated he was going to work on a case by case while i was gone. I am back and I am also working on helping him take care of the customers. our ne phone number is 951-779-6929. we do not have any answering or voicemail services just yet hours are m-sat 9-6. another number is 775-860-3884 this was set up 30 min for messages. We have 4 people that will be checking messages so some one will contact you. most likly it will be brian as he has been pushing me to get on top of things.

Brian is still fresh and does not know everythign that is going on which also causes a delay but is getting things done I apologise that we can not speed things up faster.

well as u have all probably noticed, i've remained relatively neutral on this topic this entire time. over the last couple of months, i've become increasingly more frustrated.

ok, with that said, here's what took place today:

i've made several attemtpts to contact DVX (via phone and email) over the last several weeks; all to no avail. phone messages have not been returned, emails either fail, or do not get responded to. today, i see chris' post with a number that's supposed to be good, so as soon as i see it, i call. to my complete amazement, someone answers; it's Brian. we spoke briefly, i simply asked for an update on the status of my suit. quite nicely, he says he'll look into it and get back to me (being the skeptic that i am, i rather doubted i'd hear from him). but to my surprise, upon my return from lunch, Brian had left me a message to call him back. he'd said that he wanted to discuss the situation with me and let me know "what we can do for you and hopefully provide you with some good news."

so i'm thinking ok, maybe they'll have some good information.

the call:
brian gets on the phone and tells me that they're going to give me "double-credit" --- he wanted to make sure i understood what "double-credit" meant, so he said it a couple times. here's what it meant. they'd give me a fixed dollar amount towards "any item in their store" he further explained that by any item, that could be something like a set of custom-made rear-sets that i would get for for the amount i was credited. but that's not the end of the story because that's only 1/2 of the "double-credit" thing. the other part was that they were going to give me another fixed dollar amount in credit towards the balance due on my suit. this amount would mean that i wouldn't owe them anything upon delivery of my suit, but apparently brian was not aware of this because when i explained back to him (to make sure i understood it right) the double-credit stuff he had just told me, he said that i had it right. then i told him that what he just told me was essentially that i don't owe them one more penny when i receive my suit. to this he said "no" and asked how much my suit was to begin with. once i told him the price of my suit and how his offer meant that i don't owe anything, he changed the offer completely and said that I had it wrong. now he tells me that i'll get the credit towards any store item and a credit towards my suit (but it's really not a credit at all because it's the amount of the deposit i gave Warren back in December). how that equals a "double-credit" i don't know and he couldn't explain it to me. basically i told him that i didn't want anything else in their store, all i want is my suit. to which he said that they would go ahead and give me a refund because they "have no idea when they're going to get the rest of the stuff from customs" and that i can just buy my suit again when it arrives. by this time i'm annoyed and so i decide to take a different tack. i attempted to explain the position i'm in. "i ordered a suit in december, it was promised before a trackday in february, it is now september, can you understand my level of frustration?" he didn't say much except that he wasn't working with warren/DVX back then so he couldn't comment on what was promised previously. i then asked him how long the current "stuff in customs" has been there; he said about 1 1/2 to 2 months. so i said 2 months back from now is July; in May or June, warren was posting that the "final shipment" was in customs at that time. again he tells me that he wasn't working with warren/dvx at that time so he can't comment on it.

the conversation ended shortly after this with a commitment from brian that he would have Warren call me TODAY. for the record, it is now 9:26pm on 9-9-04 and warren hasn't contacted me.

please note that this is not a transcript of the conversation in it's entirety, there were other exchanges in the conversation, however, i believe that this outlines the basics.

Okay, I believe those who ordered the suits, and still have not yet received their suits, deserve a definite explanation to the whole entire situation and a definite resolution. There is nothing more frustrating than to keep on waiting with no definite answer to anything. The longer it drags on, the more people will hear about this. I think the customers on SBN have been very understanding since the beginning, and we need to be taken care of ASAP. As much as I'd like to stay neutral as possible, Warren and DVX need to resolve this situation with the customers on SBN, for the sake of future business and to help rebuild the trust with the entire sportbike community.

But...I think James as moderator on here...needs to take some action. There is NO reason DVX is still a "sponsor" on here. I know James was trying to be neutral and wait it out..but maybe enough it enough? DVX should continue to have a log in so he can update, but as far as "site priviledges" they should be revoked.

that's all...and this has been said over and over...the DVX suit is a good suit. Made well, full custom...there has never been an issue with QUALITY...DVX is being held accountable for EVERYTHING BUT THE SUITS. I felt I needed to state that because, I am happy with my suit as a suit...customer service, empty promises, and the wait are other issues. I have kept them separate.

It's not my money, but I would take the refund and put it towards a suit from somewhere else. Reflex (http://www.tobefast.com/reflex.htm) seems to be of decent quality and I haven't heard anything bad about them yet. And of course we all know Z Custom is top notch, just expensive. Reflex suits go for $790.

Correction Sept-09-2004 (not 8th).

This has got to be the most frustrating situation to deal with. I can't believe that some SBN people haven't yet received their suits from DVX. The suits were ordered (as a SBN group buy) back in Dec. 2003.

It was promised to SBNers that the suits would arrive by Feb. 22nd (Fontana track-day). Furthermore, we (SBNers) were promised matching jackets to our suits if the delivery date were to slip, which it did! I think I speak for everyone when I say that I doubt that any of us would see our "matching jackets" ever. However, I think it is rediculous that some SBN members have yet to see their suits!

I have been awaiting my suit for a while, a little less than some though (ordered in February). I could have done with the suit as it's all i needed to go for some track days.

I wish the suits off the rack would fit me well, then it wouldn't have bothered me too much that i won't be getting my dvx suit, or at least it looks like i won't.

I tried a few emails and there are just NO replies at all from Brian or Warren.

I tried calling that number before but to no avail as well. i haven't tried in the last week mind you.

I am at a loss as to what to do. If i get through i expect i will just ask fro a refund. Then i can go mope with my money and not my suit.

If you guys are looking for a custom suit, Reflex has good customer service. If you are around the Santa Clarita area, you could stop in to Fine Performance Cycles. They are a retailer for reflex. they can show you samples of the custom suits, measure you and they have some off the rack suits in their shop as well.

If you any of you are gonna do another Little T/Bouquet ride anytime soon, you could swing by. I should be there tomorrow getting my tires swapped.

These suits would be slightly higher priced than the deals on the dvx suits, but not as high as a Z suit others that start at over $1k. the route that i may take when i'm ready to get a custom.

I understand the frustration and bashing from the people that have not received thier suits but to get it from the guys that received thier suits especially a few guys that still owe money on thier suits. and then some from guys that I knocked a couple of hundred that i dont understand. Bashing does not solve anything. it only makes me want to BK the company and start over. So im requesting a meeting so this can be resolved once and for all.

i think that i can safely say that the frustration around here has festered into what it is currently because we've been so ignored when it comes to getting information straight from the source. that source bieng Warren, the guy who made us the offers and promises to begin with. whatever information we do get is often found on other boards and doesn't actually pertain to our specific suits. as a consumer, it's very difficult not to come to the belief that we got taken. Warren, if you are a man of your word, you'll take our expressions of frustration for what they are and step up to the plate. i don't recall any of the members of this board ever expecting anything except for delivery of thier suit. some of us have had to make arrangements for different gear/suits, etc. and some of us are still waiting for our suits...

i suspect that the DVX person who made the most recent post was Warren. the writing indicates as much to me.
