View Full Version : Back Protectors?

So what I am hearing is that you guys want a hard back protector 8 spine for under 70.00 ?
DONE DEAL!
Exclusive for sportbikers.net 70.00 no tax
8 vert. with padded backing waist strap and shoulder straps. This will be the same spine protector that comes on the dg-1 jackets, dg-2 suits, and the dv-a2 armor jacket I need a back protector, are these still available or are they also stuck in customs with all the suits?

had about 15 in stock but they all sold at california speedway last week end. I have more being built and will be here in 35 days I will set a few to the side for sportbikers
35 days, not gonna make it by my track day. I always miss out on the deals.
If you're in a pinch and need it ASAP, try Cycle Gear. I think they have some on sale. I doubt they're as good as what Warren makes, but even my 7 plate-no shoulder straps-Teknic is better than just the memory foam that was in my suit. tongue.gif

how about these (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=2471433713&category=6749)? Anybody ever use one of these things?

There's no safety standard that back protectors have to follow in the U.S., so you can really only go on how much it LOOKS like it would help.

i found a good deal on THESE (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/ebayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2472493100) if anyone is interested...it is a little more than the others, but at least it is a reputable brand.
They are a bike shop in TX, so i'm thinking that i might get one from them. the other people said that they won't have any mediums until sometime next week. I don't want to wait that long and end up in CLASS without one.

There are 2 adjustable elastic shoulder straps and 2 wide elastic waist bands (velcro). Stays where you put it and very light.
