Im racing...Its really not at all that competitive personality-wise in the classes that I run (at least 1 of which you would run). People want to win, but for the most part everyone is out go have a good time and its a very family-like atmosphere. I guarantee you will not finish last.

If you two do decide to race, you are going to need a catch can. Lookin at the pictures again, Wilson's bike already has one, but for RSV, we'll either have to make one out of a can or you can pick up a really nice one at Del Amo. You will need water wetter as well. Thats pretty much it for prep.

Dave Stephens of Western States Performance Tires is who mounted and balanced my current slicks. Give him a call at 909-380-2557. 300 for Metzeler Racetech Drifts mounted and balanced.

Do a search on Supermotojunkie. Some think they are fine, some absolutely hate them. Same thing with the Maxxis slicks. One of the guys I ride with uses the maxxis cuz they are much cheaper than the dunlops or Metzelers, but they dont last as long. Hes faster than me, so im sure we could get away with them too. You'll meet him on Friday...Hes the #2 CRF.

i have maxxis now and it looks like they got just 1 day left in them. im gonna be scouring for tires on saturday @<hidden> sow.
