Hey everyone just moved from the Fla Keys, and I am looking for some people to go riding or were are the meeting places with and maybe answer some questions I haven't been able to get answered by reading this board, also I am in need of a painter, it seems that one of the drivers whom was shipping my skoot wanted to go for a ride while on his/her road trip and added some unwanted color, any recommendations would be appreciated.

Thanks again for the welcome, just moved out here cause I lost my house during hurricane Wilma, cant rebuild so its up for sale, and got tired of the flat land riding, and California has been calling for years, was wondering when do you all get together for a ride, looking for some kick a22 asphalt surfing, just got done breaking in my 10R/2004. Still rideable after shipping mostly cosmetics.

Keep checking the General Group Events forum. During this time of year, rides are fewer and usually smaller but there are always some rides goin' on. This is a ride from last month...

Thanks for the good laugh r-ggressive, I have a question or two concerning some laws here in California, 1st is it legal to split the lanes in the HOV?, and 2nd what is it with the turn signals? is just up to the rider or is the ticket clinic going to nail you to the wall if the yank you over?

it is legal to share a lane with another vehicle if the conditions permit.
you wil get popped for blinker mods but its usually if they pull you over for something else and they notice it.

Thanks again, So if I understood, I am allowed to pass inside the HOV if vehicle moves to the left, and again thanks for clearing the turn signals. I really appreciate the help and looking forward to getting to ride and meet you all. I will say that the people hear are a helluva lot friendlier that in Fla.

yes, the carpool lane (HOV), and I am following my wifes wishes whom passed away a few years ago, staying with my son's grand parents in Hemet until I can find a house, wherever that ends up, then my son comes over, so I have some free riding time, yyyyyeeeeesssssssss, I'll ride anytime, mileage is of no concerns niether is the cold.

but im a lil girl when it comes to the cold so i gotta wear my work out pants under my jeans and a sideline jacket or wind breaker over my leather jacket and a polar mask for my face but im still down to roll. i may look like the michelen man when im done but im hella warm:D

back to your question:
i always share with cars in the car pool lane even cops/chp and i have never gotten in trouble for it. if the traffic is flowing pretty good and you still pass i think it is a bit questionable but as for traffic its done all the time. use your disgression when doing any lane sharing. But i try not to stay next to cars for to long. if a vehicle moves to the left i assume they see me so i go for the pass chp included. but thats me
