Hi All,

Just have a question on these boots? I just purchased them and went through the jacked up sizing. I'm a 10.5 in U.S and had to get a 9.5 in the boot. The 10 felt good, but my ankle had allot of play in it. My buddy told me that it’s not good, which I figured.

My question is does the leather stretch? With time will it mold my food, it looks like it would? I know with my tech 8 alpinstar (moto X boots) they are pretty stiff, but the sidi looks like softer leather, since this is my first pair of street boots not sure if they will stretch. Tried them on last night and snug, just a little stiff and hoping they will strech out?

Your feedback is much appreciated? Just want to make sure I have the right boot, if not ill take them back.

Thanks, Gabe

I have those boots and I didn't really notice any stretching in them. They did however fit nicely when I first bought them.

It depends on which part you want to be stretched? On boots, they will stretch but very little.

Sorry forgot to mention that, I was meaning mid section of the boot, where it covers my foot. Just a little snug.

It won't stretch around that area. I have my Sidis for almost 3 years now, still a little tight.

Hey James.

So you think I'm right with the sizing on my boot? Was it the same for you? I'm a US 10.5 and bought the 9.5 Sidi boots, and I should not have any play in the ankle. Did you eventually get use to the snug fit on your boot? When I tired the size Sidi boot my ankle would come up when I walked. I'm just really anal when it comes to big purchases; want to make sure it’s the right size etc.

Thanks James, Gabe.

I'm about a 10.5 US/ sometimes 11US (depending on the brand of shoe) and I bought the sidi 10.5 US (think it's a 45 euro) and they fit perfect...

My boots fit comfortably when I first put on, got the exact size for my feet (42). But for some reason, every freaking first session on the track, it hurts and feels like my feet "expanded". I would imagine when you actually ride in your new boots, it will be uncomfortable.

also were you trying them on with a suit on? my boots are loose around the ankle also when i ride on the street with my jeans on the outside, but they are snug when im at the track and my leathers on the inside of the boot.

just regular jeans over the boot, no leathers yet. But when i would walk the ankle would came up alot in the size10, therefore i went with the 9.5.

Have not rode in them yet, i guess ill just have to try them out, and yea I'm sure the first few rides will be uncomfortable.

Thanks for the feedback, Gabe

I have a pair size 11 fit perfect very comfortable , see no reason to go down a size. If the boot is too tight it is too small and I wouldn't count on it stretching.

I agree, but whit the ankel moving while walking does not sound safe? I was told to go to the smaller size. I felt alot of free play even with tick socks and the the boot fastend really tight.:dunno

The Sidis are designed to move in a certain direction, up and down but not side to side, but not too much in that direction. So in a crash, the idea is to absorb some of the energy by moving, but not to move it completely out or range to a point where it will break. At least that's what I've been told, and it seems to work since my boots held up pretty darn good in a crash, oh don't forget my ankles too :noteeth.
