The M1s are "inexpensive" as it is now, Southwest Moto Tires has them for $182 delivered for a 120/180 set.
SWMT prices are just terrific, buy a set or more and shipping is FREE, and no sales tax!
The M3s should be like Pirelli Corsas, Metzler is owned by Pirelli.

$182 delivered is a smoking deal. I may just wean myself off of race takeoffs. Thanks for the info Earl!

No problem, if you use M1s for track days, you need to run 32 PSI ft & bk, anything lower than that and the tires will melt from the excessive heat build up, don't ask me how I know!
The Pirelli Diablos are also quite good, a 120/180 combo is $226 from SWMT.
I'll be switching over to M1 120/160s for my KTM, since it tops out at 110 MPH and I really don't need ZR+ rated tires, just good adhesion and wear.
Dunlop 208ZRs are $205 for a 120/160 combo, $207 for a 120/180 combo, they aren't bad either. The new Dunlop Qualifier looks pretty darn good for use as a track day tire, just need to see what it prices out at.
I'm planning on running Pirelli Corsas as my GSXR750 track day tires, $282 for a 120/180 combo.
SWMT will be getting a lot of my tire business!!!!
