STTARS Series Mini-Tards

For those of you into the minis, here are some pictures of some of the cool little bikes that show up for the sttars so-cal motard series. There is even a kid on an 85cc KTM that dices it up quite nicely in the Intermediate and 250 class.

Yeah there was a built kx65 I heard showed up last year and won races in three different classes. SCminiGP actually sounds like they are going to have some more cost effective classes for the mini's and lightweights. They are even gonna do a class that caters to the knock off bikes against the real built Honda's 2k bike versus a 5-7k bike etc. I wish I didn't let everyone talke me out of getting the built RM85 I was looking at last year it was easily a 10k bike it sold for 3.5k
I actually looked at the KTM 85 this past weekend. It would actually be afforable to start with a brand new one of those and set it up. Might do that later this year if I can afford to. Gotta sell a car and a sportbike at least before then :D

Oh year CMRRA has new motard classes this year also including a 450 class for all their races...
