Cool. Im not gonna be able to make it out this weekend, but I hope to see you in 2 weeks. You dont need to worry about being run over. Everyone makes clean passes, even when you are being lapped :fawkdance

Both CMRRA and SCminiGP are racing there this year. And you can run it any open practice days as previously mentioned.



Hmmm maybe I shoud run the 50 against the 65 kids. I'll get my ass handed to me but it would be fun and I need to get some dirt experience!:D

There are actually a few big guys out there that run with the kids in Mini Moto. I think its the Factory Motorsports guys.

Yeah but how many of them are on an underpowered overweight bike:lmfao It would really be fun but I'm scurred of the dirt section. When do they have trackdays that they runt the dirt section? :noteeth

The first half of Saturday before the team/quad races will have open practice with the dirt section. What exactly are you scared of? You couldnt fall off a 50 if you tried :)

Uh my "50" is my Beta it's a full sized motard it even sits taller than Wilsons CRF. I'm not used to dirt riding.... I did low side my 50 based 125 pit bike in turn 3 last Saturday....back end stepped out nailed the throttle planted my knee it just kept going :woot my first lowside at 20mph :noteeth

You had to have seen my Beta on Sunday I was parked next to Eric (smallmonkey)

Im available after 3:45 Mon-Wednesday next week. Also after 3:45 Monday-Friday of the week after (March 6-10th) and all day Sat. 11th. Just let me know and we can set something up. If you want to bring your bike by the race on Sunday I can help you there, but that seems like a long way to go. Its a quick job to check them, but it might take a little longer to adjust if needed. Do you know if the previous owner put stainless valves in it and do you have a service manual? Im assuming your clearances are to be the same as mine (2002), but I could be wrong.

Soooooo....how was the race???????

Race was good times. Someone hit me going into turn 2, and got his bike caught between my rear wheel and subframe. Tore my brand new side-panel and pancaked my muffler. I didnt go down though, and finished that race in 3rd. He destroyed a radiator and spewed anti-freeze all over the track. People were not very happy with him. On the main event, fatigue set in and i was relegated back to 6th or 7th. (After a restart because someones bike burst into flames). I gotta hit the gym and build up my endurance a bit.

Ill let Wayne chime up on his experience. He did well. We'll be going out again on the 12th. Cya there.

I had a great time. Def. considering the March 12th Round 5 race.

I guess I did ok for my first race.

Finished 8th out of 24ish in the heat race. And finished not so well in the main but didnt get last. :D I had a bad start, need to work on that. Starting is brutal. Dirt section was nice though.

All in all, it was very fun.

I am doing it again for sure.

I actually did get hit in the main. Someone cut in front of me and hit my front wheel. Pucker factor for sure.
