Ever gone screaming into a corner, down shifting and braking and all of a sudden it get real quiet....and the bike just coast along...all the while going deeper into the corner??

I just HATE finding those false neutrals.

I bought a Factory Pro kit http://www.factorypro.com/ (http://www.factorypro.com/)
shift kit. (Actually I had Jimmy at Moomba install it because I am running all over the world right now).

When I picked it up I brought it home an unloaded in a empty parking lot and give it a try...the shift is much quicker, stronger, and more positive than befor. I will be at the track at Thunderhill next weekend to try it.

The kit cost about $200 and about 2 plus hours to install it.. just 3 little parts need to be replaced.

I think I will give it 4 stars after I have it on the track.

The F4/F4i has an above average number of false neutrals. The Factory pro kit will definitely help.

I have had numerous false neutrals on my 05. Scared the sh*t out of me a few times because a few of those instances were in the canyons.

I definitely have it in my plans to install a shift kit on my 600R. There is a dreaded 2nd gear problem where the upshift from first to second seems to slip a bit and I've heard the shift kit really helps. Plus being a noob I want to make the shifting process as easy as possible.

I'll probably have Moomba install it for me as well.

I've had that as well on the 600RR. I guess it's a lot more common than I though, at least it's not just me. :D
