new pads...mine was doing that..got new pads..gone.
New pads don't always fix it. My front brakes squeel all the time. Even when I got new pads, even after changing the brake lines. The only thing I haven't done yet is change the rotors. I still stop fine, it's just annoying.

you may have a small crevis in your rotor so when the brakes are applied the friction will cause a draft through it and make it whistle
or not :idunno

um...you're not serious are you? You're going to grease the brake? I really hope you're talking about the lever.

Please let me know how to get rid of the squicking on my rear brake when I am braking.:dunno
There's really only three options:
1) Un-install mouse feature;
2) Install cat feature;
3) Clean your rotors. Assuming the pads are ok, then simply having an excess of brake dust can cause squeaking.

hey, greasing the breaks really helped out, no more squeaking, can't stop , but no more squeaking. :fingersx
The brakes are fine, Jimmy at Moomba took a look at it, and it's still in good condition.
Free 12 point check at Moomba is worth the ride up there. :2thumbsup

I know this is an old topic but I have to say that greeseing thing is for the birds. Just take some wet dry sand paper and soak it in some soap and scuff the rotors. That will remove and clean the brake dust inbeded and help the pads seat better. Oh yeah and it rids you of the brake noise.
