I used to use my Under Armour t-shirt and long-johns. They were pretty expensive, but they work really well. If you need extra cooling, just dunk them in water (or spray them with water from a bottle).

I switched to the Starter brand a year ago and have been very satisfied since. For the price of one UA t-shirt, I could buy three or four Starter brands. They're not exactly the same "compression" style as UA, but if you buy a size or two smaller (I can finally say I fit a LARGE!), it's just as good. You can find Starter gear at Wal Mart.

I just got an email today that http://www.actionstation.com/ (http://www.actionstation.com/)
found a few boxes of the ribbed cool max undershirts....the ribbing helps make an air space between the leathers and the body. I ordered 2.

Although the guys I knew back then wore it under an entirely different kind of bodyarmour, they swore by 'em. I do remember, however, that those didn't last very long...but then again, they wore them nearly everyday, all day long.

I always wear a sweat wicking T shirt (UA, Nike, Prahna, REI brand, etc), and my light weight lycra cycling tights for the legs. Keeps me nice and cool, even in 100+ F weather.

NOT wearing sweat wicking fabrics under the leathers will just increase the insulating effects of the suit and will fatigue you faster. Gotta wick that sweat and evaporate it, that's what gives you the cooling effect.

I wear UA heat gear, long sleeve upper and lowers.

I haven't been able to find my top in a couple of months, so I bought a Walmart one, works the same, 1/3 the cost. It's not "as" stretchy, so it's a little more difficult to get off, but...1/3 the cost...it's worth it.

I wear the eBay stuff. It's called Warrior La Crosse or something. Works great. Sometimes I'll sport the Target "UA" stuff.
