I have read several post on the WERA board of people using a brass hamer and straightening rotors while still on the bike, using a dial indicator and a piece of chalk to mark the rotor.

Anybody ever try this??

I have a bent front rotor on one of my wheels, and yes I know I can take it to Moomba and they will send it out, but I like doing things myself, so since it is already "bent" from being dropped last week, I don't think I will make it any worste trying to straighten it.

Yeah, I have the Pro-lites on the F4 wheels, but this is a F4i wheel, and will work in my F4 bike, but the rotors don't interchange. I can get a pair of stocks on eBay for about $100.

i've done it on my gixxer once. i got pissed over a parking ticket and completely forgot about the disc lock. 2 pieces of 2x4, dial indicator, and a hammer solved it.

Bob, we will have your rotors straightened and picked up on Wednesday when we return from Buttonwillow. Sorry your spare wheel was not repairable.
