Hey, I'm new here but I need to know how it is on the main track at Piru?:newbie
Is it a decent track or what?
Also,it would help if I had some pointers on the track.
I've gone on the little track.
But I need to know so I can do good on the 80's and 80's session.

Thanx
JB

Never ridden it, but been by there a lot. Looks like a well taken care of track with some big elevation changes. I've heard that you need to be a member to ride there...but I'm not sure about that. It gets crowded on the weekends and in the summer.

The track is on the 126 about 10 miles west of the 5...somewhat near Magic Mountain

http://www.pirumx.com/ guess you don't have to be a member.

Lake Piru Motocross track. It is a very well run track and has some great obstacles. Table tops, downhills, bridges, doubles. If it is crowded they run sessions so that the 80's won't be out there with the 450's, etc.

As far as member. You do have to do a yearly membership to the AMA, which is $39.
