85 Motard

Hey guys I'm getting a kx85 and I wanted to know if it would be any good as a motard?
I heard some guy made a cr85 a motard but I don't know how well it worked out.
Also,what improvements do you have to make I know you need slicks but that's about it.

Adams in Riverside is a little far from you, but if you find time please come there any Wednesday around 6-7pm. One of the regulars: Mookie brings both his race kx85 and yz85 mini-tards. I don't know if there are any mods left to do on those bikes. He let me drive the kx, and it was insane. Granted it's my first experience with two-strokes, but still. Those little bikes are allowed at Adams every Wednesday from 5 to 10pm for $20 and at Grange whenever it's open for practice (5-6 days a week) for $30.

That's good to know.
But how was the handling and how fast does it rev up?
Those are the 2 main things I need to know.
