Newcomb's Ranch is now gone... [no it isn't]

So sad, 10 years of my personal motorcycling memories and history is up in flames.
I hope it won't be long to start new ones at Nuke's

i've been wondering if Newcomb's was in jeopardy with the fire.

That little coffee/sandwich shop at the end of AFH is most likely toast also.

Hopefully it is inaccurate information and the place is still there, I liked going there just to see all of the cool bikes old and new.

That "sucks" if it's true that Newcomb has burned down. I know for a fact the fire has not yet been contained. They're trying to save Mount Wilson Observatory including all the digital channels located up there as well.

As of noon yesterday it's not true. There are no confirmed reports yet that Newcomb's Ranch has burned down, only rumors.

Hoping for the best, but expecting the worse. If it does burn down, I'm ready to donate what I can or volunteer to help rebuild. Newcomb's isn't just a historical restaurant, it's a home to thousands of motorcycle riders. It was the first "canyon spot" I ever rode to, and a location I rode to many times since. In the event it does burn down, I think any rider that loves it should feel compelled to help rebuild it.

I've heard varying stories, but word is that it's gone. The stone walls probably still stand, and the owner likely insured the building from fire. This wouldn't be the first time she burned, either.

Like the Phoenix she'll rise up, better than before!

So still no confirmation.

Welcome back by the way.

Here's the fire on 8/31 and it doesn't look like it should be as far as Newcombs
